A colleague had his retirement do here. The staff looked after us fantastically, the food was excellent and the beer top notch! Really good evening, and the band were bob on! Thoroughly recommended!
I come from Essex but visit this pub whenever I visit the Dale which I have been doing for the past 24 years on and off. Always been a great pub and everyone is really friendly towards me even being a Southerner and obviously a nice bit of friendly banter to be had. Would recommend to anyone.
Early Friday evening out in unknown territory but really taken with the buzz of the place! Really busy but a pleasant busy.Great range of micro beers, good service and the food was exceptional; honestly, the best 14oz rump I've eaten in years. My wife's buttermilk chicken burger and son's steak and ale pie were equally great. Lovely evening.
Great selection of beers, guns and wine. Cannot fault it. The staff are friendly and very welcoming and work very hard as it can get very very busy.My only negative is that at weekend nights it gets very busy, used glasses everywhere and dirty tables.Ending on a positive, they have love entertainment which is always good creating a good atmosphere.
My first visit here and was very impressed with the food. Very tasty, not your typical pub grub. I had a veggie cottage pie, home made not microwaved. Delicious
