Wow, what an amazing place, so clean and smart. Bill is so knowledgeable and you can tell he really loves all the birds and knows all their individual personalities. We travelled from Leeds to buy an African Grey, Bill spent a long time with us and we held all the birds and interacted with them to see which one was the best one for us, it was a very hard decision, they are all so cute and fascinating. We chose our little girl eventually, she is so tame and affectionate, she was only 18 weeks old when we bought her, she's now 22 weeks and she's settled into our family really well. We've called her Indie and she's making new sounds every day, she's not talking yet but I don't think it will be long! Bill is available on FaceTime for any advice we need. Definitely the best place to go if you're thinking of buying a bird.
I drove for over five hours to buy my African Grey. It was so worth it. She is an amazing bird, so tame, so smart. She is almost six months now, and knows the name of everyone in the house, she even greets the dog! I didn't plan to train her, but having a bird is a huge responsibility, and I found it was a great way to bond with her, teaching her recall, high five, whistle on command etc. In fact she is so smart, i think it's more like she has trained me. But it would've been impossible if she had not had the best start in life thanks to Bill - what a great experience it was to visit his shop and meet all the birds!
I travelled from Sheffield and Bought a male budgie from exotic feathers in June. Bill was extremely helpful and gave me lots of advice on how to handle my new hand trained baby. Our budgie is absolutely beautiful and extremely friendly. He loves playing fetch with us and has just started flying out of his cage by himself. He is very healthy and happy and you can tell that Bill does a fantastic job at looking after and hand rearing all his birds. I've seen a few people who have left reviews who seem to expect because the birds are hand trained they will be friendly straight away, but that's not the case as it takes a lot of time and patience for them to trust you and feel comfortable around you. Thanks Bill, will definitely be back if we decide to have another little feather baby!!
I have to say that I now have 2 amazing beautiful friendly loving birds who have amazing qualities thanks to the hard work and dedication from Bill and his team. No matter what you need they will always do their utmost to help and make sure you and your new family member are more than happy together. The quality of these birds are amazing. Bill keep up the fabulous job as they truest are wonderful.
