I want to convey my thanks to Dr Sharma today It is always a pleasure to see her and discuss any of my medical concerns with her I have ongoing issues with my eyes for which as my GP she has coordinated my care very well.I get flare up of uveitis which is usually delay by secondary care - I am currently unde f care Calder dale hospital but my consulnatng is gone away on holidays, so I tried contacting local team which had forwarded me to Calderdale specialist - but they declined to see me. My eye were hurting and I tired whatever been advised from Calderdale , I had been frantically trying to contact all secondary services with no outcome. Ultimately I thought I will ring my GP, I booked online telephone consultation request - Dr S called me and I explained - she was so nice recognised my worries immediately , asked me some more questions about my eyes and offers me to cum straight to surgery - which I could not as at that time I was far from surgery , she gave me options - but I was not able to take up any - she said lets work on this together - told me that she will talk to eye on call locally and get back - 15 mins later I received call back and she had arranged me to be seen by eye specialist at the time suitable for me to reach. i Am so greatful.
