Unfortunately 1 star is too much for this store however I do not have the option of putting 0/5.Went in store to buy a few pairs of trainers and was waiting around for about 30mins with about 3 shoes that I wanted to get however no staff in sight for them to get my size..store was empty. Just one guy at the door pretending to work. Asked him if there was anyone available and he just told me to go back to the section I was in and wait for staff. I almost walked out then! After the 30mins a staff member came through..I wanted to try 3pairs if shoes so I asked for my size in all 3..the first one he got the right size..however the other two were different sizes and completely different shoes. So had to wait another 10mins for him to get them. I ended up buying them however I went to the queue and had to wait another 30mins when there was only 2people infront of me. The store was made me claustrophobic with the amount of stuff just jammed packed in there..was hard to move. And they also had an umbrella stand blocking the doors..this maybe something they do when they close however it was open and there was still customers inside! Fire and safety hazard Some staff were really nice however looked overworked and some just didnt care. I asked for a price check and they told me that I needed to queue which would take 30mins just to check the price. Disappointed and cant see this store staying open much longer!
This store provides you with the opportunity to purchase mainstream designer sports wear at a price that wont hurt your wallet or purse . Every main sports label you can think of are on offer here. Definately well worth a visit id its for casual sports wear through to the top of the range running shoes for the serious athlete.
Inside the shop is cease. They have staff witch is ready to point you everything you need but not to show you. I ask were is something and the staff told me is over there pointing direction... By customer service you need to help the customer not to point and say don't know! I'll find out is the answer or I'll help you please follow me! Only wen I need to pay my thing's then I see good customer service and support.
I walked into the store this afternoon.Having walked within speaking distance of three members of floor assistant staff I started getting a complex about being completely ignored, perhaps because I might have looked too old to buy the 'sportswear' on offer. One disappeared but two young men continued to rearrange a display and chat to each other as I stood looking at a rack of tracksuit bottoms, trying to work out what sizes S M L XL meant in respect of waist and leg dimensions. I thought, any second, one them is going to ask "Can I help you Sir?" especially as I seemed to be the only customer visible in the very big store at that time. Then a more senior looking member of staff appeared to see me as he came down some stairs but alas he went to speak to the other staff. If I was charitable I would say that they had probably all been run off their feet all day and were having a short respite. Perhaps, as well, I have it all wrong and it is I who should try to make them sell something to me. I smiled ruefully when I read other reviews of this store. Well done Sports Direct if for no other reason than managing to stay open as long as you have done.
