A fantastic central library with all the latest modern facilities including free WiFi, plenty of computers for research etc, helpful and friendly staff and situated in a fabulous modern building that you can't help feeling relaxed in. Take advantage of this fantastic facility as it's certainly something that the people of Rochdale should be proud of.

The Central Library is a Great place! Its situated inside One Riverside where you can access a Huge variety of services from groups & classes to Help & Advice sessions from other organisations. There is Free public Wi-Fi & computer access.Rochdale council customer service centre. There are also free phones to access other departments & organisations, though i have not used them. There is also a photocopier & a cafe,The staff are always polite and very helpful. Parking is opposite up to 3 hours free but make sure you put a ticket on as traffic wardens do patrol.
Always find the staff and facilities to be excellent. Today I was served by Laura (Farthing?) who was delightful - thank you Laura! The cafe also sells delicious lattes...worth a visit just for a coffee!
Staff are great. Plenty of computers. There's also a cafe if you want a brew or a bite.
