I have been going to pure gym for over a year now! I train here 5/6 days a week and have always loved it! However today I went to train as usual and now Because its super cold a lot of people complain that the studio room we work out in is too cold to sometimes workout! So cold that everytime I do a form of workout my nose starts to run and my face throbs!I usually speak to a personal trainer about this and they happily go and adjust the temperature so we can workout in a room that doesnt turn us into ice! So today I spoke to a fairly new PT. I asked him if he could adjust the temp as its making me ill, he replied by saying that they are not able to adjust the temperature and it would have to stay at that! I told him how usually the PTS sort this out for me in which he then replied saying its not fair to change it just because I want it adjusting?????? Firstly I feel like I have been lied to! So first you say we are not able to change the temperature and then it becomes about not being fair to others! There was 2 other people in that room and he didnt ask any of them if it was okay for him to change that up for him to say that! I had to train in a room today that not only has left me with a banging headache but I have left the gym not wanting to come back! I am not from Rochdale yet I travel 20 mins everyday to come there and train because I enjoy training there! But when did pure gym start to employ such selfish PTS? Now they dont even seem to care about the health of the people who attend the gym when that is there job! I Didnt appreciate the way I was spoken to by him, I found it rude and also a lie! He could of simply said he doesnt know how to do it and I would of respected that more! Please pure gym educate all your staff on the temperature of the gym so that we are able to complete a workout and dont have PTS telling us something that is not true! Other than that the gym is lovely, and Tony the gentleman who cleans the gym is an amazing asset to pure gym! He has helped me in that gym more than any PT has with my workouts and in general! He honestly is a Gem also cleans superb I must say!
Evening staff are lovely especially the gent who comes around cleaning the machines in the ladies area. Overall a good cheap gym

Nice gym plenty of space, machines and weights for workout. Plenty of parking. It was not too busy and also clean which I liked the most. Staff here is also helpful. Recommended :)
