I ordered a Hydrangea for a birthday and requested delivery for Jan. 22nd. The florist emailed me to say that they couldn't get the Hydrangea as it was out of season (then don't advertise it as being available!!) and would I like to substitute for an orchid instead? I replied back that the orchid would be fine, but apparently they didn't get my reply as no flowers were delivered on the 22nd at all. After finally reaching the florist via email (I wasn't going to phone as I live in Canada and this was taking place in the UK), they confirmed they thought I had cancelled the order because they didn't receive my reply. We arranged for delivery the next day.The orchid is beautiful, but they didn't even offer me a discount for my troubles. I won't use Buddies Florist again, as there were too many problems and the poor communication just added to it. They weren't very responsive at all despite numerous emails that I sent via the website and private email. I'm aware of the time difference, but I was also awake during the wee hours of the night in Canada, so I could receive their reply, which didn't come for ages. Perhaps they do better locally, but they failed on this particular order and my dear daughter was left with nothing on her birthday, which was a huge disappointment for both of us.
Buddies are amazing... The flowers always look incredibly like the ones displayed in their online gallery.
Great service. The lady who I sent the flowers too (they were for condolences) messaged me to say that they were absolutely beautiful and that there were flowers she had never seen before in the bouquet. They also emailed me to say one sort of flower wasn't available and would I be OK with a replacement of their choice. All in all, absolutely delighted

I ordered a beautiful 4ft rose spray with trailing leaves for my Mum's funeral paying 210. When they arrived at the funeral home they looked nothing like the original picture I picked in the shop. One of the rose shades looked like they were dying. They had also added long green sprays at the ends which weren't on the picture in the shop, this made the flower section much smaller as they clearly added this into the total 4ft length.
