Booked in Livewires to replace two old fuse boxes with a new consumer unit. They were easy to communicate with, really friendly, fast and tidy. The work was spot on and there were no hidden extras, surprises or problems. I can thoroughly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future work.
We've used Livewires before so I had no hesitation in calling them back. Another good job completed in the kitchen and love the new sockets, and lights. Richard tidied up as he went along and stayed until late to get the job finished the same day for us.
I called livewires after speaking to a few different electricians and even having one come out and not fix or identify the problem. Immediately, Richard made me feel at ease and assured me that he would solve the issue.It turns out that the problem was a wire under the bath that had gotten wet and was causing the fuse box to shut off (not a faulty appliance like the other electricians had said). He dilligintly checked all the surrounding cables and explained everything he was doing at each step so I could understand. He cleaned up anything he had moved and didn't leave any mess, and didn't try to charge me for anything that wasn't needed - and even that was cheaper than all the other quotes I'd had. I honestly cannot recommend him high enough.
